Reconnecting Families

"Helping people help themselves lead healthy and productive lives."

Virtually every facet of the lives of Black people in the United States—both adults and children—is shaped by race. America’s racist laws and policies have long impacted Black Americans, regardless of their socioeconomic status or social standing. The vital work we do advancing political, educational, social, and economic equality for Black people greatly depends on the entire community working together.

Here are our current projects:

Inmate Services - Providing funds for legal representation for minority inmates; coaching/training to prevent re-entry in criminal system (youth & adults); prison reform.

Mental Health Advocacy - Hand-on events that promote mental health

(health screenings, workshops - yoga, walks, dancing, meditation, workshops).

Family Connections - Workshops (parenting class, credit building, cooking, community events - build the importance of community)
